It was Friday January 4, 2008 when God called us to start the Downtown Vineyard Church.  Linnea and I had just returned from a much needed 7 day vacation in Phoenix, AZ;  when out of the blue, the "Holy Spirit" broke my heart for Grand Junction. Six months and eleven days later we hosted our first interest meeting inviting everyone we knew... to our surprise 1 person showed up and he was there to let us know that he would not be coming.

After building a solid group of people over the next four months we hosted our first official service in the Roper Music Hall, October 5, 2008.  Although we were officially a Campus of Canyon View Vineyard Church, the Downtown Vineyard Church began to take on its own identity fairly quickly and it became clear to everyone that the Lord had different plans.  In the Spring of 2010 Canyon View Vineyard Church released and endorsed us to become an independent Vineyard church and on June 1, 2010 the "Downtown Vineyard Church was established.

Three years into this adventure, over 450 people a weekend on two campuses attend a DTV service.  Linnea and I are truly honored and humbled to pastor this amazing group of people.

Tim Nutting
Executive Pastor/Worship Pastor

Tim helped get DTV started back in 2008. He is the executive pastor at DTV as well as the worship pastor.  He has a love for worshipping Jesus through music. Before coming to DTV Tim did international work with Youth with a Mission (YWAM), was a recording artist singer/songwriter, co-founded "The Door" and was the Missions Pastor at Canyonview Vineyard Church.

He has been married 6 years to his beautiful wife Elisabeth. When Tim is not leading worship you can find him rocking out in his band, "Free While Supplies Last". Also, an unknown fact about Tim is that he can lead you to the best taco stands in Baja California, so make sure you invite him if you plan to vacation down there.

Linnea Watson
Co-Founding Pastor

Linnea helped start the Downtown Vineyard back in 2008. She started as the Children’s Director and is now working as the co-founding pastor.  She loves caring for and connecting with the staff at DTV and helping us all feel loved. Before coming to DTV she obtained her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership & Special Education and is currently working on her Doctorate. She has been married to Pastor Paul for 23 years and they have two children, Brian and Brittany. Linnea loves spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and reading books especially the Harry Potter series.  

Nancy Colucci
Financial Administrator

Nancy started working at DTV in June 2010. She is the church financial administrator and comes to us with over 25 years of banking and finance experience.  During the week you will find her taking care of contributions, payroll, taxes and anything else that has to do with money.  She also helps out with Childrens Ministry whenever she is needed.  

Nancy loves her dog, Bocelli, a loveable black lab.  She also enjoys traveling, reading, and of course SHOPPING!!!

John Wickham
Student Life Pastor

John started working at DTV in November 2010.  His goal for the Student Life program is to see students become lovers of God and His Kingdom while serving their family, friends, and schools.  Before coming to DTV John served in the US Army, was a Rush Campus Minister, obtained his A.A. in Divinity, and was a tennis pro.

He has been married for 7 years to Kristina and they have 4 adorable children.  In John’s free time he enjoys hanging out with his family, skateboarding, snowboarding, playing epic games of capture the flag, meditating on deep studies of God and life, going to conferences, and people watching.  One unknown fact about John is that he has jumped out of an airplane over 20 times!

Jackie Balding
Children's Program Director

Jackie started working at DTV in August 2011. She has a love for children, which is why she makes the perfect DTV children's program director.  During the week you will find her planning the curriculum for Sunday mornings, communicating with our awesome volunteers, and creating opportunities for DTV kids, as well as the children in our community, to learn about Jesus.

She graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1996 and has taught elementary school in both a Christian private school setting, as well as the public school system. Before starting a family she also coached middle school girls volleyball and basketball.  She is married to her husband Landon and together they have 6 children! She loves playing sports, and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing. But what she enjoys most is spending time with her incredible family and friends!

Dazie Kirtland
Marrage Center Director

Dazie has a passion to help marriages and relationships grow.  At the Marriage Center you will find her providing spiritual guidance, relationship mentoring, marriage enrichment classes, retreats and conferences to support marriages in our community. Before coming to The Downtown Vineyard, Dazie worked at Canyon View Vineyard as their Marriage Ministry Director.

She has been married 13 years to her husband Jeff, and they have 3 children.  When Dazie is not mentoring couples you will find her directing the Grand Valley Children’s Choir and teaching music theater, voice, and tap at Grand Junction Academy of Dance.  She also has the unique talent of being able to touch her nose with her tongue.
