Senior Pastor

It was Friday January 4, 2008 when we first received the vision to launch the Downtown Vineyard Church.  My wife Linnea and I had just returned from a much needed 7 day vacation in Phoenix, AZ, when out of the blue the Holy Spirit began to stir me and break my heart for the city of Grand Junction.  Six months and eleven days later we hosted our first interest meeting inviting everyone we knew.  To our surprise 1 person showed up and he was only there to let us know that he would not be involved in the church plant.

Over the next four months we grew into a solid group of people and on October 5, 2008 we launched our first official service in the Roper Music Hall.  Although we formally began as a campus of Canyon View Vineyard Church, the Downtown Vineyard Church began to take on its own identity fairly quickly. It soon became obvious to everyone that the Lord was leading the DTV in a different direction, and in the spring of 2010 Canyon View Vineyard Church released and endorsed us to become an independent Vineyard Church. On June 1, 2010 the "Downtown Vineyard Church” was formally established.  Three years into this adventure the Downtown Vineyard consists of over 450 people on a weekend.  Linnea and I are truly honored and humbled to pastor this amazing group of people. 

Tim Nutting
Executive Pastor/Worship Pastor

Tim has been involved in establishing the Downtown Vineyard since its beginning in 2008. He is the Executive Pastor at DTV as well as the Worship Pastor.  He has a heart for expressing worship through music and is a talented songwriter.  Before coming to DTV Tim did international work with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), was a recording artist singer/songwriter, co-founded a young adult service called "The Door" and was the Missions Pastor at Canyon View Vineyard Church

He has been married 7 years to his beautiful wife Elisabeth and they have a busy two year boy and a sweet new baby girl.  When Tim is not leading worship you can find him rocking out in his band, "Free While Supplies Last".  Also, an unknown fact about Tim is that he can lead you to the best taco stands in Baja California, so make sure you invite him if you plan to vacation down there.

Linnea Watson
Co-Founding Pastor

Linnea has been actively involved with the Downtown Vineyard since its start in 2008. In the beginning her main role was Children’s Director but she is currently working as the Co-Founding Pastor.  She loves caring for and connecting with the staff at DTV and helping everyone feel appreciated. Before coming to DTV she obtained her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership & Special Education and is currently working on her Doctorate. She has been married to Pastor Paul for 23 years and they have two grown children, Brian and Brittany.

Linnea loves spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and reading books especially the Harry Potter series.  

Nancy Colucci
Financial Administrator

Nancy began working at DTV in June 2010. She is the church financial administrator and has over 25 years of banking and finance experience.  During the week you will find her taking care of contributions, payroll, taxes and anything else that has to do with finances.  She also helps out with Childrens Ministry whenever she is needed.  

Nancy loves her dog, Bocelli, a loveable black lab.  She also enjoys traveling, reading, and of course SHOPPING!!!

John Wickham
Student Life Pastor

John has been part of the Downtown Vineyard staff since November 2010.  His goal for the Student Life program is to see young people become lovers of God and His Kingdom while serving their family, friends and schools.  Before coming to DTV John served in the US Army, was a Rush Campus Minister, obtained his A.A. in Divinity, and was a tennis pro.

He has been married to his beautiful wife Kristina for 7 years and they have 4 adorable children.  In John’s free time he enjoys hanging out with his family, skateboarding, snowboarding, playing epic games of capture the flag, meditating on deep studies of God and life, going to conferences, and people watching.  One unknown fact about John is that he has jumped out of an airplane over 20 times!

Jackie Balding
Women's Pastor

Jackie serves as our women's pastor in response to a calling God placed on her heart. She began our program, HER Community, which is offered to women of DTV as well as all women in the Valley.  H.E.R. is an acronym for Heal, Encourage, Relate, which are the fundamentals of the program. Small group studies, special events, mentoring, as well as opportunities to serve other women, are all a part of what Jackie oversees. 

She graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1996 and was a teacher and coach prior to starting her family. She is married to her husband and best friend, Landon, and together they have 6 children! She loves playing sports, and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing. What she enjoys most is spending time with her incredible family and friends.

Dazie Kirtland
Marriage and Relationship Pastor

Dazie has a passion to help marriages and relationships grow.  She directs the Colorado Marriage and Relationship Center, a mission of the Downtown Vineyard Church.  At the Marriage Center you will find her providing spiritual guidance, relationship mentoring, marriage enrichment classes, and planning retreats and conferences to support marriages in our community. Before coming to The Downtown Vineyard, Dazie worked at Canyon View Vineyard as their Marriage Ministry Director.

She has been married 13 years to her husband Jeff, and they have 3 children.  When Dazie is not mentoring couples you will find her directing the Grand Valley Children’s Choir and teaching music theater, voice and tap at Grand Junction Academy of Dance.  She also has the unique talent of being able to touch her nose with her tongue.
